## Pricing FAQ

**What counts as a credit?**
AI Visibility scans bill per sample: one reading of one prompt on one AI source. Each source has its own per-sample rate, and your chosen precision level (Quick, Standard, High, or Maximum) sets how many samples run per prompt, so deeper precision costs more. A SERP scan is about 3 credits per keyword. A GEO audit is 1 credit per page. Social pulls are 0.5 credits per post. The exact credit estimate is shown before you start any scan, and the credit ledger in your dashboard tracks every charge in real time.

**What happens when I run out of credits?**
Scans pause until you top up or your next monthly allocation arrives. Top-up packs apply instantly, never expire, and stack with your monthly allocation. You can also enable auto-recharge from billing settings.

**Can I switch plans?**
Anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle so you retain access to higher-tier features until then.

**Do unused credits roll over?**
Monthly subscription credits do not roll over. Each cycle starts fresh. Top-up credits never expire, so you can bank capacity if you expect spiky usage.

**Is there a free trial?**
The free tier (1,000 credits on signup, 1 business, 7-day history) is permanently free. No credit card required. Use it to evaluate every feature on real data before upgrading.

**What is the difference between API and Web GUI engines?**
API engines are available on every tier including Free. Web GUI engines (ChatGPT Web, Perplexity Web, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot) require a Starter or higher plan because they are more expensive to operate.

**How do I get an invoice or change my billing details?**
Every payment generates a downloadable receipt in your billing dashboard. Update your billing name, address, tax ID, or company details under Settings, then Billing details, at any time.

**Can I cancel anytime?**
Yes. Cancel from your billing settings. You keep access until the end of the current billing period. We do not prorate refunds for partial months on the self-serve tiers, but Enterprise contracts can be customised.
